There wasn't much special today.

If I have to pick a one though there was not so many, I ordered in English a cup of coffee at a cafe.

After having supper, I rode a bike and went to the Daejeon Expo.

The night view was fabulous and I wanted to use English at a place which is unfamiliar to me.

So I stopped by Sungsimdang, a famous bakery in Daejeon, and bought a cup of coffee.

When I order, I said in English. "Iced americano, please."

And then the clerk who looks like my peer flinched a bit and asked me in Korean. "한 잔 맞으세요?"

I said "Yes." I understood Korean. Brilliant!

I handed her my credit card to pay.

She noticed that there was a name written in Korean at the back of the card.

She stared at me with a bit suspicious eyes, and asked "영수증 드릴까요?"

I acted not to look akward and said "No, thanks." I understood again. Classic!

After dropping by a restroom, I took my coffee and went out leaving a word "Thank you." to the clerk.

Although It was a short conversation, I felt thrilled.

Let's make the kind of situations more.
